It is a tricky subject, what do you do?
Some believe in offsetting all the carbon from their travels and leaving it at that. Some believe in not offsetting any of the environmental impact of your journey as that could simply offer a guilt free why to maintain a lifestyle that continues to have a negative impact on the environment. Rather, we should all stop flying completely and, therefore, we do not contribute co2 emissions to the environment on a significant scale.
Both views are valid. However, all our travels impact negatively on the environment and we need to consider and minimise that impact. But, what about the communities we visit? If we all stopped travelling, what would happen to those destinations and communities that rely on tourism as their main source of income?
We believe everyone has a choice to make and we trust all the folk travelling with us to make the choice best for them, the communities they visit and the environment.
So, we want to give everyone the choice to make their own decision.
